I wanted to try challenging myself because I’ve been in a bit of a nail art rut lately, so I pulled out my Japanese nail magazines and picked a design to modify for my tastes. I love the cut-out elements!
Colors are all Gelish - Emerald Dust, You’re So Sweet You’re Giving Me a Toothache, and Inner Vixen.

80’s Power Suit. I’m a little late to the houndstooth trend, but here’s my take on it. The basic white and black version of this pattern reminds me so much of the suits my mom used to wear to work when I was little, so I wanted to update it a little bit by pairing a flat color with a metallic. My left hand has a muddy navy blue and silver combo, while my right hand is white and gold. Making the pattern was easier than I thought—fun stuff! :)
